I have no clue why, but this reminded me so much of Grey's.

Well Having done the car crash and plane crash with Arizona and she won the Medical equivalent of the Lotto when she secured a $15,000,000 grant for the Hospital( or was that her winning the thing no one wins- the Carter Madison), So what's left for Arizona? hit by a bus? hardly as George had that honour so I guess it must be a train crash next?

I so see why it reminds you of Greys!!! :-)

Hehe, I know! Right?! I felt a little off kilter when my brain immediately made that connection...I was thinking 'man, I'm Grey's obsessed!' But then I though, it wasn't all that insane.

I don't think the Carter Maddison counts since Grey's itself seems to have forgotten it happened (the only claim to fame Arizona has, apparently, is that someone from Hopkins recommended her...)

So glad you are as bitter - free as me! ;-)

If I were Arizona I'd have picked up my scalpel and left them all to it ages ago. Grrrrr........!!!!!

Haha I actually am not bitter! I just don't really watch any more. I love the characters and like following what happens to them but I've given up hoping that Arizona will get a story about her or we will get any real insight into her. So it's far better for me to be just a casual watcher.

I think Arizona did get a pretty good and solid arc the past two seasons 9 & 10). Maybe it wasn't exactly something everyone liked, especially the cheating...but, they did give her a solid story nonetheless.

I wouldn't have minded except the large proportion of it was from Callie's POV. It was about something which happened to Arizona, sure. But for the most part their focus was on how Callie dealt with it. The cheating is a key example. It came out of nowhere to the audience because it came out of nowhere to Callie. If they were really telling Arizona's story, the cheating would have been shown in a manner similar to MerDer cheating on Addison and Finn respectively. We may not have liked it but we would have understood it. Their interest wasn't in telling the story of Arizona's recovery. It was about drama and shock and we mostly saw and understood how it affected Callie.

That's not to say we haven't had some great Arizona episodes. We have. But those episodes have been essential because they're really the only time we get insight into Arizona. The last episode - she was suddenly apparently fine with being an amputee. What the heck? Where did that come from? Last tome we heard, she really wasn't. We don't get a solid progression through the storyline. We get two episodes a season which are the "Let's check in with Arizona" episodes.

(okay I may be a bit bitter still)

That, even I have a quarrel with...the explain by scattered bits and pieces thin.

Fair enough! I'm not really interested in getting into a quarrel though so if you don't mind I will leave it alone :)

Not at all! I respect your point of view.

So Arizona needs to start playing the lottery.

And also stay WAY away from trains.

And buses...I don't know how they haven't all just clumsily stabbed or maimed one another with a scalpel during an operation or two.

Arizona: And that tethered cord is severed and you won't need any pain meds

Derek: Dr. Robbins, I'm afraid that was my little finger.
